Dies ist die dritte Bearbeitung der Zygnemales in der ,,Süßwasserflora". Da die Konjugationsstadien nur selten auffindbar sind, ist die geographische Verbreitung der Zygnemales auch derzeit nur lückenhaft bekannt. Deshalb wurden bei dieser Bearbeitung nicht nur die Arten aus Mitteleuropa bzw.
